It’s not some proverbial hill, it’s a part of a horrible issue that has disproportionately and unfairly effected black people and people of color and it needs to be attacked at every angle. AOC and other progressive have constantly attacked positions in our government they feel are wrong.She’s a joke in this instance as even the basic level of research would have told her that this wasn’t the hill to die on and that the USA championed for these same set of rules she and others are complaining about

People literally miss out on opportunities all the time because of drug test. If we don’t feel any sympathy for them, then why should we for her?
Do you literally not get the hypocrisy in those stances? Hell, I don’t even feel sympathy for my siblings or friends who have missed out on opportunities or got in trouble because of failed drugs test.

Exactly. She is an elite athlete who has taken drug tests for years. She knew weed would flag her test. She smoked weed anyway. She knew she’d fail the drug test. She failed the drug test. This is 100% on her. If you want to argue weed shouldn’t be banned fine, work to change the rules. But as of right now? The rules are clear. The end.
