It makes sense outtie Mark would question this so much. That’s a huge leap to believe your dead wife is alive.

His sister actually spoke to innie Mark so she would be more willing to believe his story. Plus having Gemma back would help her brother.

The way Helena’s whole body language changed in comparison to Helly R. Interesting how starved for affection she is that Helly was able to connect with Mark in a week.

Figured that whole 5 months was a a sham but they really went in fast to get that severed floor makeover.

Cold Harbor…. It’s that important.

That jumped out to me as well. Whatever Cold Harbor is, Mark S is vital to it and they were willing to hire Dylan/Irving back in order to accomplish it. Has to involve his wife Gemma in some fashion.

Lumon does like pineapples :skip:

Interesting that we heard Dylan's wife voice, but didn't see her :ohhh:

Helena watching the Helly footage :lupe:

Yeah the only thing we learned about Mark was he taught history at a college before Lumon and the lady who put the chip in was hiding there( which was weird but I didn’t know why).

Hurt seeing Dylan get rejected for the job for being severed but it gave good context for why his outtie came back.

Burt?!

The fact Milichick threw all this together quickly makes me really question what the point of Ms Hwong is now.

Also shout out to that beautiful shot of Helena walking through the windows in comparison to Mark running the halls in episode 1.:banderas:

Anyone who has to deal with the drudgery of an 8 hour shift deserves to exist more than the addhole who severed their mind and forced them into an existence of slavery

:russ:breh people believe in weirder/wilder shyt just look at Mormonism now that I think Kier Eagan religion remind me alot of Mormonism.:jbhmm:

Mormonism is a modern religion founded by American "Prophet" Joseph Smith in 1830 with the establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ and publication of the infamous Book of Mormon. Now nearly 200 years old, it has spiraled into one of the fastest growing religions in the world. The actual history of Mormonism is one of absurdity, a completely fabricated story designed to fulfill Smith's agenda. Operating like a billion dollar corporation instead of a religion: this is the cult of mormonism.

The show caught my interest again after Milkshake talked to Mark the second time. That and the meeting scenes brought back the dark vibe. And all of this has something to do with grief is my guess.

Firstly, excellent world-building is going on here without sacrificing the plot. I love that.

After watching the 2nd episode, I believe Mark will undergo reintegration at some point. The interaction with Corbelvig was tense and you could see the wheels turning. He wants to know the truth his innie knows.

While I don't think Milkshake and Corbelvig are perma-severs (the showrunners said Milkshake wasn't severed in the BTS after the episode), I do think they are diehards in the Lumon cult. However, I think both of them are, and will be, a point of failure for Lumon. The first episode showed how Milkshake is already starting to get annoyed (the name change on his terminal screen); and Corbelvig is right, they do fear her. She knows too much and highkey is infatuated with Mark. Now, if she sees the Helly/Mark kiss video?:whew: I could see her crashing tf out. For Milkshake, I think he will continue to get piss for water while he tries his damndest to impress his bosses and it will send him over the edge. How? Idk.

I am very interested to see what happens with Burt.

SN: I like Ricken :yeshrug: His ridiculous book being the Bible for the severed is jokes :mjlol:

I knew the "severance reform" thing was bullshyt the second i saw Helena in the photo. They tried it tho.

The acting is A1. They about clean up all the awards again if the season continues like this :wow:

Corporations suck.

the scene with Dylan at the doors company was straight flames. Loved the insight of people looking down on Severeds. It would absolutely play out like that in today’s society, with people scared to death of fukking vaccines.

I thought it would be funnier and more true to life that they'd be looked at as lazy and unable to perform
