Seriously, why do you lift? Why do you work out?

I've always done martial arts and working out keeps my performance at peak conditions. I do everything from weights to cycling, power yoga, and circuit training to keep in top condition. I can get 30 miles in one hour of an expert cycling class. If anyone else has an LA Fitness membership in ATL I recommended they try Cycling at the Camp Creek location

I first started cause my nikkas started calling me fat. Then as a man, once you in there you might as well start lifting. Becomes a habit. You like what you see.

Then also mix in that i'm a professional dude who lives by himself. If i'm not with a chick I might as well get those few early nights and head out to the gym at the crack of dawn.

Originally I was boxing/MA as a kid and it was something I was good at it somewhat. I had a temper so doing it relaxed me. I enjoyed reaching/ accomplishing my goals and seeing results. But I was going for the slender but strong look. I stopped after I moved multiple cities..

Got a job at a gym in HS and got into lifting while I was there

Then I wanted to play football and got more into increasing my numbers. Football didn't work out but by that time certain things were habitual

Joined the military and now I have to do it

Yeah took me almost 2 years to work up to that rate. Most intense cardio and leg workout I've ever done.
Thats wassup. I get around 20 now if I do an hour. Can't imagine 30 but I'll try to reach that now

I'm in ATL now so I might have to check it out

Just tryna give you some advice breh. People who actually fight aren't intimidated by muscles, people who fight know most brolic dudes cannot fight.

It would be embarrassing if you actually do get in a physical conflict and you're getting worked by someone smaller:manny:

It's a deterrent. And :childplease: @ the chance I'll run into some Kung Fu master.
