Just because you lack reading comprehension doesn't mean I'm contradicting myself. I said *MANY* were mulattoes, not all. You posting black Presidents doesn't disprove that because I never said they were all mulatto to begin with. And my point was always about them being Black Americans, not just "black". Black is a race. Black American is an ethnicity.

And if you consider major checkpoints in BA history "arbitrary bullshyt qualifiers" then you have zero respect for BA history to begin with. And IF that's the case, your opinion is worthless quite frankly.

It's crazy how some people try to simplify an ethnic group's identity to the most bare/basic parameters. Do you consider Boer cacs to be "Africans" since they were born there, or do you consider other factors?

I can comprehend just fine. Your entire argument hedges on the premise that because they were free, didn't go through reconstruction, jim crow, civil rights movement disqualifies them from being Black Americans...Which is a completely stupid perspective to have. Your boer comparison also makes zero sense, because that's not a question about nationality, but a question of African Genetic Identity. Did the men I post not have African Genetics? Did the men I posted while being free, come from a trans Atlantic slave lineage? Yes. So by definition they're members of the black American ethnicity that immigrated to another part of the world.

All you're doing is pushing Real nikka babble. "You ain't a real nikka because you ain't struggle" Get the fukk outta here with that nonsense.

Why wouldn't be closer culturally to White Americans? We've only been in the same country for centuries.

:patrice:

I’m not being reactionary, I’m being practical. Black immigration has hurt us, because blacks people elsewhere lack any form of unity, and don’t understand white supremacy.

I want to put an end to identity politics. I don’t want anymore Obamas, Kamalas, Ilhan Omar’s, Shirley Chisholm’ etc. these are immigrants, or people who were raised by immigrants who do not Identify with us.

no more White minds with black skin

I dropped it multiple times in that thread but breh is just following the lead of the people behind this bullshyt. Yvette Carnell said verbatim WE HAVE TO BECOME WHITE

When Black Twitter made fun of White folks struggle thanksgiving meals, she got mad and asked "what is Black culture? What makes is different from white people? Screw your culture"

This is what this shyt has ALWAYS been

I told y’all, these diaspora wars was all about getting closer to whiteness. This thread is further proof of that.

So you skipped over Caribbeans and Afro-Latinos?

You do know the black diaspora exists outside of just the USA and the African continent right?

sharing cultural similarities does not make us them

YOU said "sharing culture" means having "more in common".

more in common means being more alike.

YOU not me.

Why wouldn't be closer culturally to White Americans? We've only been in the same country for centuries. Have families who were in wars together (albeit treated differently) I'm sorry I'm closer culturally to some White Southerners than I am to some brother in Kenya :russ:

I feel people would only do this with Black Americans by the way.

No one would bat an eye if a Black Dominican, Jamaican, Belizean, Brazilian, Puerto Rican, Costo Rican, etc, shared more in common with their countryman regardless of race than they do with someone deep in Africa

Yes, me and Chad in Apartment 3C both have an affinity for Football Sunday, Soul Food/Southern Food, Seafood Boils and Boxing, Baseball and old school American muscle cars.

I'm sorry that I share more in common with him than Gasimba the Hutu brotha from Rwanda.

But that is true for everyone. We all share more in common with our countryman than other people. It only offends yall when it comes to us though.
