Serious question: Why are atheist's such a$$holes?

im an atheist and a pretty nice guy

On the real alotta atheists:

1. Think they're smarter than most people and especially smarter than believers
2. Have very negative world views which drove them to atheism in the first place
3. Atheism goes hand in hand with internet subculture so alotta atheists are the worst kind of internet nerds who lack the social skills to engage a diverse group of people

To answer the OP specifically.

What you/creationist view as atheist being a$$holes, is more often than not just "a frustration" from them. The frustration comes from attempting to meet you half way on the subject "usually by discussing fallacy within the holy text/book itself. This is met with disdain because Atheist generally know the holy books better than the professed "religiously devout."...and religious people will not acknowledge error, hypocrisy, and fallacy....and just cover it all up with a big dose of "Faith."

The second frustration is every religious person argues from ignorance...a huge conversation stopper.
The other thing is many of yall don't understand the different stances of belief and non-belief...here's a couple second video by a damn child that gets it.


Lastly, I do share a concern about how atheist approach a conversation with a religious person. Some are what we call "hard atheist" meaning they basically have no chill. If I was to classify myself it would be in the "soft" category, but since I'm also progressive black...I run into the
"hardest religious" which are religious black people. Specifically AA. Which is flagrantly absurd the more time passes living as an "unpotentialized" people in this day in age.

Most atheists are arrogant and don't meet people halfway.

Here's another point. Using myself, I have a deep and profound affair with philosophical thought, Eastern/African socio-cultural spirituality. An atheist will not have an issue with naturalistic worship from a historical perspective, because it makes sense to me that people would worship the sun, wind, rain...ancestors etc. Tangible matter, that serves a purpose and equates in measurable impact to human life and psyche. Those belief structures are rooted in social serenity, peace, natural observation, and collectivist reward. The very new construct of actual religion is destructive, divisive, and mentally stagnating from a historical view and in present; but since it's design is meant to direct collective populous thought/fear....

To further meet you halfway, the atheist will cite verses in a book he doesn't believe in; just to level with you using scripture that you understand.

The opposite is never true tho, a religious person will never leave the domain of (book reference+faith+book reference+faith) circular logic.

Atheist tools and sources: Basic gradeschool Science text book--Phd level Sciences, Biology, Archeology, Astronomy, the processes of experimentation, Universal Law, philosophy, Global/Historical Religious study, and open mind.

Religious Tools and sources: Holy Book "translated/altered", and "faith." Is faith really a tool tho? considering it's basically saying "I don't know for sure, but I'll gamble my life on it".

If you are certain of your faith, then an arrogant atheist should not be seen as arrogant at all.......unless you admit to atheists having something to be arrogant about?

Because if you do then you will say "who created that creator?" And so on again to infinity. It's a impossible cycle.

The one single Creator of the universe is eternal. Otherwise nothing could even exist. No cause no effect
