Adaptation and Millions of years of evolution. Its not a design its the natural course of life. Contrary to popular belief the world does not belong to human beings alone. We just happpen to be the most dominant inhabitants of it.

To answer the OP specifically.

What you/creationist view as atheist being a$$holes, is more often than not just "a frustration" from them. The frustration comes from attempting to meet you half way on the subject "usually by discussing fallacy within the holy text/book itself. This is met with disdain because Atheist generally know the holy books better than the professed "religiously devout."...and religious people will not acknowledge error, hypocrisy, and fallacy....and just cover it all up with a big dose of "Faith."

The second frustration is every religious person argues from ignorance...a huge conversation stopper.
The other thing is many of yall don't understand the different stances of belief and non-belief...here's a couple second video by a damn child that gets it.


Lastly, I do share a concern about how atheist approach a conversation with a religious person. Some are what we call "hard atheist" meaning they basically have no chill. If I was to classify myself it would be in the "soft" category, but since I'm also progressive black...I run into the
"hardest religious" which are religious black people. Specifically AA. Which is flagrantly absurd the more time passes living as an "unpotentialized" people in this day in age.

nah i already said i "get" agnostic...which is basically saying "maybe" or "I dunno"....shoot, you can believe that aliens created humankind for all i care....or a god or whatever...

...but when your atheist, you are drawing a conclusion based on "there is no evidence" when you see the evidence every day...if i walk down the street and see a computer....this complex machine... that's proof of engineering.....it's too complicated not to be.... and that's just a computer...imagine EVERYTHING.... not being engineered... by something...that seems more farfetched to me...

I have seen Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson destroy this intelligent design bullshyt before it doesn't explain shyt.

Alot of Christians believe that they are going to Heaven based on belief alone.... The ones who have to pray for you because you do things they dont believe in. But when they do things no one can judge cause thier actions are covetted by God. Alot of Christians feel like they are under persecution for thier beliefs and that those who dont follow their God are not worthy to even speak of presence.
