To be honest I think his music or the topic hasn't changed much so the new stuff isn't hitting the same or surprising. Same flow, same substance, yeah plenty still like it but nobody really playing his recent stuff (and by recent I am going back 2-3 albums) like that.

The context of his music changed, 15 years ago his music sounded like r&b in rap form, which is why he had alot of female fans. Now his music sounds very spiteful towards women.

That fanbase has always been there. But when it comes to the women…I feel he really started losing the women fanbase around “Her Loss.” Especially when he sent that subshot to Megan. Then when he doubled down and started saying “Free Tory” that’s when he really started losing them.

Thats also when his music became more “fukk these women”

When “For All The Dogs” dropped that’s when he really got his incel, red pill male fans..

But what yall gotta realize that Drake fans are not fans of hip-hop. They are fans of Drake..like a Popstar. His fan base is exactly how a Popstar Stan base acts.
