We don't know for sure, it looks like that, but it also looks like Mitch is forcing a vote because Trump is putting pressure on him, so Trump can make a list. He obviously doesn't want to do it, but Trump, just like anything else, wants results, doesn't want to put any effort forth, and wants absolutely no responsibility in the failure. I mean, look at what Obama did to get the ACA, he became a health care policy wonk, and this fat sack of sh1t doesn't even know what Medicare/Medicaid is. Fukking unbelievable.
So it failed so much that they are not bothering with a vote? lol!
They are going to vote next week, as of right now, so Trump can make a list. It will probably lose, but with the sneaky old turtle, you never know, everybody always talks about how smart and cunning he is, and he would never put something on the floor if he doesn't have the votes, so this will cause further divide between congress and Trump.

I guess the Republicans problem is they can't please the ultra conservatives and the conservative lites at the same time so they can't get to 50 votes. They flat out don't have enough seats in the senate to pass anything because if the ultra conservatives are pleased the lites back away and if the lites are pleased the ultras back away.
Its looking more and more like the only way they can pass anything is getting Democrats to join them.

Great leadership Mr. President just let Obamacare fail with no solutions.
There is only one solution to "fix" Obamacare. Medicare for all. Since they don't want to do this there is no plan to "fix" Obamacare nor will there ever be. Everything the republicans want to do involved taking away entitlements and will leave people uninsured.
It's like a guy stepping to a woman on the friend tip. At some point because he really wants to smash he has to go for the goods but he can't do that and play the friend role. You can't distance yourself from what you want to do with lip service to get yourself closer to your objective.
Republicans don't want to make Obamacare better, They don't want a better plan for this country either. They want to cut taxes on the rich and gut Medicaid. But as they're discovering now that's not some poison pill you can slip in there's no way to do it without getting called out on it and they can't just flat out come out and say they wanna do that either because it's unpopular.
The only way they do what they want is like the Democrats did it with Obamacare. Vote on it and accept there will be collateral damage in the elections that follow. With Obamacare it was much easier to do that because in doing so you'd be on the right side of history. With Trumpcare you're screwing over Americans and kicking millions off insurance just to cut taxes on the most wealthy. Who really wants to give up their power for that?
