Did you take into account other cost associated with raising the federal minimum wage that negatively effects small business owners such as the cost of the product that they sell in their business goes up because the pay to manufacture that product increases, labor costs increase due to Obamacare, etc. ..The increase of the federal minimum wage increases costs for small and big business alike

People wanna get mad when you mention this, but lower wages for lower barrier jobs DO affect motivation to pursue higher wages, better jobs, and opportunities etc.

no they dont. they drag other wages down
