Well, like y’all said, we still got to get through the rest of the regular season. 100+ wins would look good on the resume, as well as Acuna getting this 40/70 and Olson getting to about 55 homers. Still wanna see Albies get 100 rbis. Riley getting a 40 would be nice too

Brehs, just think how good Michael Harris II is gonna be eventually. He's already good now but there is plenty of room for improvement. This team has the chance to be great for YEARS!

I don't think we can sign Fried. His asking price is going to be insane. I'd bet AA tries to make a big trade for a younger arm whom we can wrap up for multiple years and let Fried walk.

Like I said in my post earlier, I think they let him walk in free agency like Freddie and Dansby. If that's the case, I wouldn't mind trading him. We gotta build up the farm system again. It's been depleted from all the players that have been called up. I trust AA tho, he's given me no reason not to.

Naw, he is good as gone. He will be asking for TOP DOLLAR and we aren’t going to bite. I can’t see us paying a pitcher 40 million a year.

Looking at the standing if we end up with the best record in the NL, we may not see Philly, especially if Philly gets Milwaukee on the road. Milwaukee is 4-2 vs them.

Morton may pitch one more year but he can also fall off a cliff because of age if he pitches next season. I believe Fried has one more season before free agency. Just thinking out loud brehs. Brandon McCarthy, Dallas Keuchel, Charlie Morton, Drew Smyly and Cole Hamels. Hell, Charlie is the only one who got a two year deal and even that's a team option for next year lol. The man is shrewd in building the team

So if we do anything starter wise it'll be calling up and locking up our young guys to team friendly deals. You mentioned Waldrep and AJSS, those are two guys who could replace Fried and they're still pre-arb and rookie status.

we have him for 2 more postseasons. if he's incapable of delivering then he's not deserving of all the money the dodgers are going to throw at him in 2025 anyway. cross that bridge when you get to it.
