I remember when I was in high school and Tim Hudson came and threw to us once and nobody could catch up to his pitches, they like exploded halfway to the plate and were impossible to catch up to, I knew right then that I just needed to focus on football. I can only imagine what a Strider fastball looks like at the plate.

I gotta look for it but Strider had a really good interview with the guy who runs the pitching ninja Twitter account. He made a comment that I saw yesterday on my timeline that said, velocity without control is basically batting practice. Strider seems like a really smart guy and definitely is a perfectionist with his craft. I always enjoy his post game interviews.

He reminds me of Greg Maddux with his philosophy except Maddux never had that kind of ability so he got his outs on contact. Strider pitches like a closer with stamina and that's hard as hell to do.

Breh, that's batting average, not slugging percentage! :russ:
:mjlol: You right but I know what I meant breh

A SLG% of .500 means you average half a base per at-bat, which would be like hitting a single every other at bat.... which would be a .500 batting average :ohhh:

But for this team it would've been better to say it's like we hit a home run every 8 at-bats, which would only be a .125 batting average, but who cares when you're going yaa-yaa
