Glad to see the starters turn it around after being straight up trash for a little while. Stop giving Chirinos starts. Move him to the bullpen or DFA him.

Matzek had Tommy John. We probably won't see him pitch until next season. Since we traded for him from the Rockies, Pierce Johnson has been lights out. Hopefully Chavez is back soon but I don't think I've seen any updates and I know he is on the 60 day IL.

Matzek is out for the season(Tommy John he suffered last season). Chavez has been out with an injury to his shin, he should start facing live batters again soon though

At this point in the season I actually like him starting. He’s an extra starting pitcher who can eat up innings, helps keep our Starting Pitchers from logging too many unnecessary innings and can still keep us competitive in games when he starts. He’s not great by any means but he serves a purpose for us at this point in the season
