At this point in the season I actually like him starting. He’s an extra starting pitcher who can eat up innings, helps keep our Starting Pitchers from logging too many unnecessary innings and can still keep us competitive in games when he starts. He’s not great by any means but he serves a purpose for us at this point in the season

I'd rather see Winans, Soroka, or AJSS get those starts. Chirinos had gotten lit up in every start he's made with the Braves. Saw his numbers on times thru the lineup on Twitter and he's good the first time thru and then gets lit up on 2nd/3rd times. He'd probably do better out of the bullpen.

They’re not going to put Soroka out there in an inning eating type of scenario coming back from all of his injuries and AJ had his opportunities to stick and couldn’t stay consistent. Winans, we’ll see, definitely deserves some more opportunities

Yep, like Frenchy and Glavine said yesterday, all he has to do is give us a chance to win. Our offense can beat anyone if we are in striking distance.
