so Brian Jordan ain't coming back, mostly for reasons that border on racism, if not all in out racism. Braves twitter mad about Paul Byrd mostly because he look like them, probably twins separated at birth. His pitching insights weren't that insightful and it took too long to get there. At least Brian was an everyday player, Byrd, beginning to end was a journeyman.
You're making it a bigger deal than it actually is.
If they had overextended, he'd be playingDoes this logic apply to Grissom because of how much he played last year? I dunno the specifics on team control rules

I would be surprised if that was the strategy, our top players are young guys who would've made sense to keep in the minors. But we've paid them and had them in the bigs contributing. They probably want Grissom to get more reps before he struggles and loses confidence in the majors
I'm surprised they sent him and Shewmake down tho. I'll definitely catch a game in Gwinnett this season
in other news....
I thought also remembering hearing the Braves enticed him because he would be close to Florida and his family. Obviously having his kids in the locker room would be a plus. AJ might be on to something and David O'Brien might be vindicated, because he got a lot of shyt when he broke the news of Griffey signing with us in 2009
I still remember as a kid when everyone thought Griffey was coming to Atlanta for Kevin Millwood and Andruw Jones, I was hype. That was like 2000 tho. 2009? Griffey was toast by then
OK dude
okWhat do you mean OK dude? You said he wasn't brought back due to racism, then it was shown that he was offered to come back and he declined. Instead of admitting you had a shytty take, you give a smart ass OK dude like you know more about the situation than everyone else.
By the way, Brian Jordan sucked calling the games. Don't have to be a racist to say it. He was awful.
