My guess is Brian wanted to chill with the fam. He's a former captain so it could easily join MLBN if he wanted to

I hope we win it all this year. @freddykruegeronapill was my old name. I’m still mad at the move to Cobb County, but I’ve let bygones be bygones. I’m excited for this season, and I might try to attend some baseball games this year.

I was salty too, but once I took in a night game there (2021) I was sold. The backdrop overlooking CF was majestic. Being at Game 5 of the World Series and seeing how packed the Battery was, solidified how nice of an area it was.

Plus I live less than 15 mins away and seeing how active it is on a random day during the offseason shows why it's miles better than Turner Field was.

City of Atlanta tried to develop the area it just didn't work. It's only been more of an attraction in recent years. Summerhill is totally different now and Georgia State's development has changed things in the area

Nah I’m saying do the service time rules apply to Grissom? Like what the Cubs pulled w/ Kris Bryant, Braves did it w/ Acuna too. The ‘service clock’ for a guy on his first deal starts like April 20 or something, so if you keep a guy in the minors till like April 22nd then they aren’t ‘contractually’ a major leaguer that year and it basically gives you another year on their rookie deal.

I just dunno if that rule applies to Grissom because he played last year, I’m asking

Yeah thats a tough job because they work a lot and have to be available for road and home games, with some travel.
