Since winning a championship, the Mavs haven't had the best roster, but they were still a good team in the west because of stable ownership and coaching. It's a good environment for a player. They even got Deandre Jordan hitting free throws.

That's why I don't buy into Ayton vs Doncic talk people have been pushing lately. Put Ayton in the Mavs environment and he'd look even better. Put Doncic in the Suns environment and the team would struggle the same. Doncic wouldn't help the defense. There would still be 20 point losses with a rookie coach, rookie GM, and a dysfunctional owner.

Most of the posters on Suns forums have already labeled Ayton a bust which is stupid. It's too early to tell if he is a bust.

I can definitively say he will not be a bust.

the way the suns are playing, they deserve to play at the YMCA

also, if the dbacks (who are actually a .500+ team) cant get more stadium money then surely the suns should have enough sense to know this wont fly

he is just soft. he will grow into someone who puts up points as a front runner on a good team but probably wont have the grit to lead when times are tough. KD has become a superstar with a similar psych profile, so ayton should be fine. LOL
