Do you think the people were happy about that? No so the ruling family brought out a fatwa from the country's main scholar saying that it was acceptable for US troops to be stationed there and fight the Iraqis. Other scholars then came out and claimed that the sheikh which wrote the fatwa was tricked into it which is believable since my dude was old and blind. That's an example of POLITICS right there you dumb nikka and the same thing is happening in Egypt right now. Maybe I should draw you a pic so that you may understand?

Between a fatwa is a ruling given by a scholar based on HIS understanding. It can be accepted or ignored, only the ones coming from respected scholars are looked up to. No those coming from an institution which has lost all respect in the Muslim world.

Fatwas are issued for political reasons. No shyt. I'm wondering if you even read the article in this thread. The Al Azhar study collected fatwas issues by Salafi and MB clerics. You are claiming that the fatwas don't exist are a forgery done Al Azhar. Nice story about the Saudis and U. S. troops and all...that was interesting. Attempting to tie that to this is completely non-sequitur because you're claiming that the Al Azhar study is totally bogus. You don't have any evidence or reason for that. You just don't want to believe it. You could apply that logic to literally anything and just say "I don't want to believe it."
