The definition changed in the early 1900's, then again after ww1, then again in the 50's.... The reasons Actually listed as to why Egypt is c00nsidered the Middle East would also apply to 3 other nations in north east Africa.

One thing you should note is that Egypt is geographically located on the continent of Africa.... it is only considered part of the Mideast due to cultural, religious, and linguistic reasons...... AND IT'S WELL known amongst scholars, historians, and people with a minimum amount of common sense- that the the term middle east and the classification of Egypt being apart of it, is Purely a Eurocentric POV.... not some definite fact of reality.

If you paid attention to what I was saying, I repeatedly stated that Egypt's designation as part of the ME is indeed eurocentric and the modern middle east was arbitrarily outlined by white people for geopolitical reasons.

If you paid attention to what Van Taak, Tommy Knocks, and the others were saying, they ignorantly thought Egypt was not considered part of the ME, and thought so because Egypt is part of Africa, and somehow a country that's part of Africa can't be part of the ME. They were ignorant to the fact that the ME is arbitrarily defined, not geographically defined. Then they tried to backtrack and change their argument once they realized that. Tommy Knocks even edited out his comment about Egypt being part of Africa.
