For what it's worth, more people fared better and continue to do so under capitalism.
We're better off not having veered down that communist road.
The Marshall Plan was a success and we need to learn from that.
Capitalism > CommunismUh huh. You're just going to gloss over US domestic and economic policy from the 1930s to the 1970s? That doesn't factor in huh?
Capitalism > Communism
I'm leaving it there.
1. The Nobel in Economics isn't a real Nobel PrizeWell thank you Ayn Rand.
I'm going to submit your post for a Nobel Prize in Economics. Really groundbreaking and thoroughly researched conclusion you have provided here today.

2. The USAs capitalistic society has done MORE for MORE PEOPLE than any example of a communistic or majority socialistic enterprise has.
Really ground breaking stuff. Wow.
Napolean, since the 1980 you have had what you wanted. Regulations in favor of big business, corporate conglomerates, stagnant wages, crippling of the middle class, exporting jobs, diluting of science at the behest of corporate gain, corporations making record profits, wealthy of this country sucking the lower classes dry for their own economic benefit (the only group that made money during the Recession), monopolies, diluting of social safety nets, using government agiences to conduct economic spying, using government agencies to stomp out labor unions and progressive protests, and so on.
Everything you wanted in your Capitalistic view has been accomplished or is in the process of being accomplished. That's the status quo that you endorse.
But that isn't doing much for the middle class, working class and the poor in this country. The time will come when they are fed up with this nonsense. And they are going to put your head on the chopping block along the same propagandists you get your talking points from.
I have no more use for you friendYou have the nerve to tell other posters they can't answer shyt, yet when pressed you just bring the smilies out.
We see through you.
You just don't acknowledge that SOME PEOPLE'S VALUE is not that high out here in the working world.
Drop that kumbaya shyt
who said I WANTED more regulation in favor of big business?
The US isn't a PURELY capitalistic place. There are regulations that are necessarily enforced...HOWEVER, the alternative is not state-run everything.
Don't be mad.
I have no more use for you friend
you've already agreed with me and destroyed all your arguments
my job here is done:youthink:
I'm not mad at all. I'm perplexed that you and other feels threatened when you have had a massive shift towards Anarcho-Capitalism since the 1980s. You're literally getting everything you want.
The fact that you feel threatened by a modest minimum wage bump to $15 dollars shows how much your side fears losing control of your conquest for free labor.
Here's an adjust minimum wage graph (2013 dollars):
