I love how some of the working class looks at that wage and is furious that it isn't lower. Truly brainwashed people. Instead of using it as a means to empower their labor rights and seek fairness, they attack their own.

Keep looking down. Meanwhile the people above are raping you every chance they get.

They get mad because they're earning maybe 20/hr in their career field.

They think to themselves....."I went to college. Why should this lazy bum make close to what I make and he didn't put it the same effort?"

They're asking themselves the wrong question

Does anyone think hours are going to be reduced? They do that already for a lot of jobs, less than 40/week so they don't have to give you benefits.

That's gonna happen regardless. What people don't understand is that if someone at McDonalds is making 15 an hour, the odds of them doing some dumb shyt to lose that job reduces. That means they will be more productive and provided a higher quality of service. the higher quality of service the more likely people will go to that McDonalds which increases revenue.

Companies are barely hiring as it is so why not take care of the workers you have.

I hate to do this...but...

You know why CEOs get paid so much right?

Thats a HIGH risk job mind you.

And this isn't a popsicle stand. We're talking one of the largest companies in the world. That counts for something.

I don't wade into how company execs spend their money unless we're talking about lower level people.

CEOs are THE frontline of these massive companies and when they do bad, they suffer...but if they do well, they're rewarded.

I think people will keep going to whatever fast food place there is regardless if the service is better or not. How much better can fast food employees make the service anyways? Start singing slow jams through the drive through speaker? Giving people a fist bump when you hand them their food? I don't see it.

When it affects their bottom line, naturally its time to take a look at shyt like this. This is mad funny though, cause in your next post your talking about why the next man earns what he earns, who cares, right?

Lemme guess, your opposed to raising any wages other than the CEO's cause they earned it more. It may be crab shyt, but those CEO's and fat cats are eating those crabs 24/7.

Next, you'll probably sound off on some bootstrap shyt to disprove my argument, using your real life experience as support for you claim.

How is it fantasy? CEO's make as much as they do because they are qualified to do so.

Not true. This is one of the biggest myths there is.

This thread is littered with examples of CEOs and other high executives getting paid even though they were at the helm of business disasters, downturns or loss of profit. They still got their golden parachutes, bonuses and severance packages, sometimes to the tune of millions of dollars.

I think if there's going to be a minimum wage it should be raised to $10-12 dollars max per hour nationwide. 15 is absurd.

I don't care what CEO's eat or what they spend their money on. The same people who rail against fat cat CEO's have no problem with athletes making millions of dollars a year...probably because most athletes are black and come from poor communities. Hypocrisy. I have a problem with neither.

A CEO who was at the helm of a business disaster is still more qualified to do that job than some dude flipping burgers at Wendy's.

Again, I don't care about golden parachutes and severance packages. It's always someone out there making more money than you. So what? If we are going to combat corruption I'm all for it, but I'm not comfortable with boiling every argument down to income and what the next man is making compared to me. That's crab shyt.

People worry about what the next man got because it impacts the rest of us what they got.

Crab mentality is people like you, Napoleon and others in the working class catching grenades for people who would be happy to make you a modern day serf.

Throwing shade at minimum wage workers while exalting top level execs as Gods. That's the definition of crab mentality.

:usure: You DEFINITELY haven't frequented fast food spots in the hood.
