No 18 year old would qualify for college loans if the Feds didn’t guarantee them. Clarence Thomas has received 100+ million in gifts and bribes, PPP loans were forgiven and used in fraudulent ways on top of it. And we can’t get 20k of relief? fukk off

I think the government is culpable for getting in bed with private universities in the first place.
Assessing high schools based on college admissions turned cumpulsory government funded education into a gigantic recruiter for private institutions.
Kids are put in school by law, and then taught by teachers whose job depends on them going to college which they have to take out a gigantic loan to get into.

If that's not predatory lending I don't know what is.

But, I do get why those who have paid their loans would be mad...

I dont. Didnt they want to pay the loan? If not then they should totally understand why people want loan forgiveness.

I paid my loans off and I want others to have that chance. Only selfish a$$holes would be mad at others getting help for their loans.

I paid my loans off and some of them had very high interest rates
