Street Struck
Not really feeling this, only song i fukk wit is "Cooties" other than that i'll forget about this album
I've had a few drinks so I thought maybe it was just me but I came away with the same feelingToo all over the place for me, bit of an exhausting listen
Not everyone considers blankface his MO, plenty of people still hold H&C in that respect. But yes, it makes sense to compare it to the last album you liked from him. Plenty of people in here even comparing it to crash talk - the highs and lows of both albums. Not within 24 hours after the album came out. This obsessive need to compare something after one listen to an artist magnum opus isn’t the best way to consume art. IMO
I was going to make this point....this is some Danny Brown shyt with a orange hoover rag esthetic over it....I don't mind Q stepping into different lanes as a fan I mean 15 years into a career that's what you should be doin..but I just hope he sticks the landing better execution wise on the next album...some of these "songs" just sound like concepts still formulating...maybe that's the vibe he wanted but it does leave something to be desired musicallyProduction wise this feels like leftovers from a Danny Brown session (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Will take more listens buts it's okay so far.
