May have to digest it properly but feeling CrasH Talk more initially. Even Foux aside from Soul's verse felt uninspired. And straight up, I don't like Q on this production, direction of this project feels all over the place lyrically. This is definitely Q's most abstract project.​

I don't hate this album, I think it's better than Crash Talk but it's a weird ass listen. Tracks change abruptly and the sequencing is very random, I'll give it time

Incredible album after playing it a couple of times, I thought Crash Talk was overhated but this is a return to form by Q.

Side note, Fire is a top tier song

People compared damn near every nas album to illmatic. people generally hated crash talk, so of course blank face would be the point of comparison to say whether Q is back/delivered. Don’t be so much of a fan that you can’t accept the way people generally judge music.

Not within 24 hours after the album came out. This obsessive need to compare something after one listen to an artist magnum opus isn’t the best way to consume art. IMO
