There probably won't be an ESPN to go back to in several years. They made money through forced cable bundles. As that goes away it kills that network.
ESPN is a dinosaur. The only way they survive is going online and dropping the actual TV network. Personality driven on demand content via the internet and let somebody else pay all that money to broadcast games.
