How much money have they lost that they can't afford a guy like this? I enjoyed his articles during football season for betting purposes.


Judging from ESPN's negotiating, he was probably getting paid 50k an article. :mjlol:

just wait til they get 1-2 more years into actually paying out their new nfl and nba tv contracts while losing millions more subscribers. its going to affect everyone, down to the players in the leagues contracts becoming much lower. money just wont be there
NBA and NFL players need to brace for the drop in salary cap due to the lack of money from TV deals.
NFL player really need to be prepping, but knowing them they'll be unprepared, strike and come back begging or take the first deal presented because rent is due.
