that time of the year where contracts are up. more to come, i imagine.
With the rumored deal between ESPN and NFL Network, I’d imagine a lot of those NFL guys are going to be tossed to the bushes.

Ed Werder had a good run though especially considering he was the only talent from those OG layoffs that got the chance to come back.

Supposedly it’s supposed to be that ESPN is buying equity in the NFL Network and why the latter has been cutting talent and reducing cost.

Now if that means there will be a crossover in talent at some points, I’m not sure.

Closer to the other way around, where Disney would be acquiring NFL Media in return for the NFL getting an ownership stake in ESPN.

If brehs in here hate how much of a chokehold the NFL has on ESPN's airtime now, if this dumb shyt goes through, they're about to be FURIOUS.

wasn't there talks of ESPN/Disney doing the same with other leagues too?

wonder if the plan is to do something similar with the NBA in some capacity when the new deal kicks in, since i'd imagine NBA TV could be on the way out.

SC isn’t what it used to be and ESPN justify the costs of a lot of those vets. They’re lowballing them with an offer that they know won’t be accepted.

It should be viewed more so these days a stepping stone.
