He said he signed his last contract for less than he thought he was worth. He's expanded his brand and raised his profile so he hasn't signed the offer because it's probably not enough money. I'm sure Fox, CBS, and NBC would love to him. If they throw a bag at him he's gone.

The best thing ESPN has going is their football crew. They need to keep them all. Ryan is a major asset.

You also have to take into account the Disney factor. There's not a high level of job security at ESPN so Ryan can go to one of these networks and have stability. The bigger the contract the bigger the bullseye on your back if The Mouse decides to downsize.
