People on this site had no problems taking those Max getting the bushes from FT rumors true from the same news outlets that is reporting on the Countdown story even way before a press release was announced. If those rumors are true about the Wilbon/SAS/Magic lineup, then Rose is more than likely getting the bushes just like J-Will is. If he gets the bushes from Countdown, then he's also more than likely getting removed from the Finals as well, which will only let him with Jalen & Jacoby as the only role he has left for ESPN.
Don't sit here and mention press releases when that hasn't stopped people from talking about ESPN rumors before
Regardless he's still not getting $3 million dollars in his next contract as Get Up was the main reason why he got that amount in the first place. It was literally the reason how Beadle got her $5 million.

Why would Jalen Rose leave? He's been on count down and the finals for a minute. He's a asset at ESPN. In my opinion he deserves all of that 3 million for countdown and the finals alone.
He will be there because of Countdown and the finals until otherwise.

Not gonna happen. I believe I heard him mention before that he would never have a co-host. The most that would happen is if he came into a setup like he had with the Morning Jones, which was what I believe was him at his best.
There was no conformation prior to the press release that Max was leaving FT, yet that still didn't stop The Coli and people on social media from still talking about it. So it's disingenuous to bring up confirmation or press releases as an argument.
The only person at ESPN right now who has the leverage to make millions of dollars only doing one job is Tony Kornheiser. Jalen & Jacoby can easily be replaced. PTI can't and is still their most watched TV show, so they are going to keep that duo together as long as TK is healthy enough to do so.

TEJ is his worst imo. He can't talk sports on there due to his ESPN contract, so he has to talk about music (Outkast and Prince primarily), pop culture, and.........himself. Joint gets old fast.
He def needs a co-host or keep the show around an hour or so like it is currently
That's the thing. If I wanted to hear him talk sports, then I'd just watch him on ESPN. Honestly, the majority of people are terrible when it comes to asking questions, so it'd literally be the same tired spots talk that people complain about if he was able to talk about sports during those shows. So the sports questions wouldn't be better than the questions that get asked on the show now.
I enjoy those unscripted interviews as those talents actually get to be out of character and themselves outside of regurgitating the same talking points that they do on a daily basis on TV.

I mean that’s literally what he does before he opens the floor up to listener questions, which is the entire premise of the show…..
Like I said before, people are terrible when it comes to asking questions, which is why the majority don’t do listener questions real time.
