That’s what I said a while ago. He needs to be watching drew Brees and Russ Wilson film. Hes a pipsqueak back there and Howie loves these big ass o line men. That’s why his passes get batted down at the line so much. They need him on the move more. Force him to make a decision quickly. Either throw it or run. Having him taking seven step drops like Peyton isn’t the move.

I guess I gotta be the optimist in this thread since y'all dooming so hard. y'all got a real short leash for this man in a league where QBs throw 5 picks in a game or go 9/30 passing for 130 or so yards.
last week was his first truly bad game in a while and he still accounted for three touchdowns. He played like shyt from a butt and still put us in a position to win, but he's gotta be better, and I get that. But I truly and honestly believe he will. And it's going to happen at just the moment we need it to. Don't be surprised when the passing game gets going in January.
Reminder of how ugly shyt can get even in the BEST of years. You just need it to click at the right time.

I think its delusion because hes allegedly 6'2 and thus taller than those guys.

I’ll preface by saying I do think there needs to be a better middle ground but people are freakin out and it’s a little OD.
When Jalen was airing it out and being risky we went 2-2, turnovers were thru the roof and people wanted to jump ship. He’s cleaned that up and gotten more conservative, but I’d rather a W with ugly stats than throwing for 300, 6 TDs and an L

Seems he may be too conservative? Some of the plays that ppl are pointing out AJ or someone else is wide open and Hurts seems to not see them or sees them too late.
I agree there needs to be a balance. One of the plays people are mad at is the Devonta touchdown. If he threw it to AJ, he would be on IR.
Hurts isn’t above criticism but he’s made plays all season to help us win games.

Are you talking about the td play that is in that tweet I listed? How would that have been a hospital ball? AJ wouldve been well into the endzone before a back got to him and they wouldnt have bothered tackling him hard after that.
