I think a lot of people are blowing this game up because they really did take the Panthers lightly. I don't know if people just watch the Eagles or what, but the panthers have been playing better then their record for weeks now and probably deserve more credit for making this a game.

It still rings true, that the more consistent and good teams will always find a way to win. Which is what the Eagles do more so than not.

Im going to be honest, he should've kept this for the closed door meeting tomorrow morning, because the media is going to take this and run with it and twist it like he wants to win but doesnt want to sacrifice or, the eagles may press the issue in situations where they shouldn't. You can flip his comment to fit whatever narrative of your liking if you need a quick view. That's the problem with being this open to a media market this large.

However, I do agree the passing game needs to be incorporated better and earlier. The issue for me, mainly surrounds the first 15-20 plays.

I also think given the set up of this team, they probably should run through saquon/the run game earlier to open things up a bit more to help mitigate some of these issues. They wait until almost the second half to do that.

Yes this is going to be his lowest numbers since coming here but AJ has been injured and missed games, he's still on pace for his 3rd straight 1,000 yard season. Plus his 3 years with the Eagles are going all have better numbers than his time with the Titans. I'm not reading to much into his comments. AJ has been a model citizen this year. Sure, of course he wants the ball more. Last year he was clearly upset at the end of the year. Lowkey with the Eagles constantly winning every week, they become kind of boring in the media eyes, lol. So I expect the media to blow AJ's words out of proportion. Last year, the heat was warranted because they were starting to fall apart even though they started off amazing coming off a Super Bowl run. This year there needs to be more praise. The Eagles do not win 9 straight games normally.

In any other year this would be a run away #1 Seed type season but the Lions are playing Historically well (And they can still win the #1 Seed so it's not over). This is only the 4th time in the entire 90 year history of the Eagles they've done it. 2 of those times they won a Title, another they made it to the NFC Title game. I knew once Saquon started going off after the bye, the passing game was going to take hit and I'm not shocked. The Panthers did a great job yesterday, it wasn't just about Jalen. The Defense basically said, "F it let Saquon beat us.". The Birds were like OK, and ripped over over 200 yards on the ground. Jalen had several crucial runs. Though the passing yards were low again just like against B-More, he still had 3 TD's and no picks playing a clean game so points were put up. I do believe they need to get AJ involved earlier with some quick passes and slants.

Ravens game was looking shaky as hell. Luckily the defense played good as hell and stalled long enough for the offense to get it together.
