All great points. I’m not necessarily mad at the decision. It just sucks that it’s happening in a time where running backs are gaining relevance again. He’s going to miss out on the record obviously. He could also get a career ending injury in the playoffs that could obviously put him out for good. It’s definitely a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation though. I’m guessing fans would love to have a healthy Saquon for the playoffs. It’s just crazy that it’s happening.. Dude could be Zeke Elliot status in two years and end up being released.. he’d always have that record though. Again you made great points and I understand.
Yeah the Eagles sat him in a couple of games late, could've racked up some garbage time yardage and been much closer. Oh well.
