It makes sense that it would help white women more, because there are more white women than black people and white supremacy still exists. And this is a prime example of what I'm talking about. No way affirmative action gets support if it's just for black people.

First your article makes the mistake of basing black people progress only on a comparison to white people.

The part you bolded asks if we are in a better position economically. Then it doesn't talk about our own gains, just a comparison to others.
