Just had a chance to play around with one.
- Size is nice and the perforated back isn't that bad in person.
- Bpi scanner nice but useless
- Fingerprint tech swipe up to unlock and about as useful as iPhone 5.
- New interface for settings etc much nicer
- No difference in camera (compared to note 3) the mili second speed improvement is nothing amazing.
- Cap covers charger port(which is the same as the note charger) to make it water resistant.
- Most impressive thing the rep brought was the headphones which had nice sound quality and touch features were responsive.

These phones need to stop getting bigger. Lowkey the S2 had the best screen size out of the Galaxy phones and now they want to make it Note lite.
Need a better blend of screen size and portability.

If you have an S3...you MIGHT want to get it...maybe.
But if you're a techie you probably don't need it cause by now you have an S4 or an iPhone or a Moto X or a Nexus 5 or a Note. Which means at the moment, your needs are being fulfilled. There's really no need to get an S5 because the jump from the S4 to the S5 is not that big and there are tons of phones already out that are comparable to the S4....which is not that far from an S5
So unless you're balling out of control, and have an absolute need to have the most cutting edge shyt, the S5 is just something you admire from afar cause you can appreciate the progression but are comfortable with what you have.
