Horrible ass fit for Derozan. Sabonis and Fox can’t shoot. Murray is a complete disappointment after his rookie season. Does Ellis still start also? I didn’t understand that signing at all

They peaked as a team a few years ago and the Derozan move was a desperation one. It doesn't help that multiple players on that team have regressed whether that's due to Derozan or not.

None of those dudes are #1 option on a championship team. If you can get multiple assets in return over paying Fox the max, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
It's interesting how the Kings have morphed into the west coast Bulls. Team of ill-fitting parts where your two best players are better suited to be sidekicks to a true #1 guy

@Don Homer Kuminga for Keagan straight up.. what you say?
yeah, i'd do it. Kuminga is a role player. When you know that, and you know you can find role players anywhere in the league, it's easy to let go of him. :manny:

Problem is, the Warriors dunce cap FO think Kuminga is a soon-to-be all-star (he's not)

There’s something weird about derozan that I can’t pinpoint cause I rarely watch his teams

It’s almost like he’s only good for his own 20-25 points with good efficiency but adds nothing else. Is it lack of movement without the ball, weak defense, lack of leadership despite being like 36, what is it?
yes,

He's a number 3 guy.

De'Aaron Fox isnt coming back if they don't prove they're not ass. If Fox leaves, they might as well trade sabonis and bottom-out

Shame. 2 years ago, they were the most exciting team. And it looks like they reached their ceiling. A game 7 loss to the Warriors and that's it :francis:

I wish all those folks complaining about too many 3s would watch some Kings games to see what happens to the floor spacing when a team doesn’t have enough 3-pt shooting. DeRozan wastes far too many possessions stopping the ball, shooting midrange shots, that it stunts Sac’s ability to maximize runs.

This team would be a lot better in a previous era when teams played in a similar manner. But it just can’t compete today.

Wellllll Kings had a chance to draft #1 option on a championship team, but they chose Bagley who is currently the last option on the worst team in the league.

They SHOULD do the same thing every team should do when stuck in a situation that is obviously going nowhere: trade their best player and rebuild.
