Where I'm from is irrelevant. This has nothing to do with Fox. It's about the inept front office. How do you get worse back to back years after finally ending the playoff drought?

Where you're from is relevant because people in the city not this fukked up about it, they love DeAaron but you on here moping in every fukking thread so it feels like some perspective is being missed given you are from the East Coast and have never set foot in the city, let alone been to a Kings game...

The front office is weak but this roster isn't awful, the lane to strengthen it is there. We could have done a whole lot worse than the return we got...

I'll say again, Fox was great for this team and city, and we'll miss him. It 2as time to move on and we did right by him and did the best thing for both sides...

There’s something weird about derozan that I can’t pinpoint cause I rarely watch his teams

It’s almost like he’s only good for his own 20-25 points with good efficiency but adds nothing else. Is it lack of movement without the ball, weak defense, lack of leadership despite being like 36, what is it?

So you watch follow every team in the league

I follow a bunch of teams and get to see him when he plays those teams. Sometimes it’s 10 times, sometimes it’s 20 times, sometimes it’s whole playoffs series.

You don’t need to be a beat writer or a die hard fan to form an opinion, unless you’re a full blown idiot. I won’t assume that you are, but exhibits are stacking

Had a cute winning streak after firing that mediocre coach. Then Fox starts feeling like he don't want to be there cause his teammates won a few games without him and he was a fan of Mike Browns mediocre coaching...

Now they have a Lavine Derozan duo again, who are one year older and failed to win play-in tourney in a fukking eastern conference multiple times.

It's mediocre Bulls again except Domantas being an improved Vucevic with better court vision, etc.

We definitely still suck, but the 2025 West is full of mid ass teams. Look at the standings. Once you get past Denver at #4, nobody's a world beater. And in the Top 4, the Nuggets are the only proven team to be consistently a threat in the playoffs...

If I'm the Kings, I'm looking at the landscape like, why can't we win a playoff spot, not just play-in, and depending on matchup, why can't we win a series?

We're 12-6 in our last 18 games and only 3 games outta the 6 seed (currently the Clippers). If I'm Sac I'm looking at this shyt optimistically, none of these teams around us are great, not a one. We can get to the 6 seed, if we don't escape the play-in, we can win the play-in games and secure a playoff spot...

As much as we suck, we're on target for at least the play-in. The last 3 years of Kings basketball has been WAY better than the previous 16. Now, in the off-season we need to tool up so we don't just become a treadmill team, that's the trajectory were on right now without improvement. Being the Hawks or Bulls, what those teams have been the last 4 years or so, is treadmill teams, that shyt ain't it...

But in the here and now, while I'm not satisfied, I like where we are. It could be worse, and if mf's are real Kings fans they know this shyt all too well----->because it has been worse, much fukking worse...
