Sorry, I have a right to my opinion and I don't care about or give in to groupthink. I have no problem with NON-LETHAL (taser) means being the first option in trying to stop a fleeing suspect.

How easy would it have been to restrain a person who is intent on trying to get away? Also, you don't know if the suspect has a knife or gun on his person because he wasn't searched. I agree that the tazer would have been an appropriate non lethal response to a fleeing subject. It's not like once you caught up with him he was going to willfully submit.

Yes, they should chase down suspects and use non-lethal means to apprehend them. We are in agreement. So why aren't more ex-footballers becoming police officers anymore? We have plenty of Black male ex-footballers, why are they not becoming policeman to police Black neighborhoods so that we don't have to depend on white men to do it?

Umm, no. In every instance of Black men being killed by officers, their mothers have come out in support of their sons in demanding justice. This was true in EVERY single case.
