Cats out of the bag, IMO. There's no reason to lift any of those sanctions in the near future. NATO is FIRMLY back under the umbrella of the US. Which was a worry in the Trump years. US/UK leadership catapulted back to the front. Zelenski turned into a folk hero....outside of killing a bunch of white collar workers and old folks...what did Russia accomplish?

If anything its made China show a bit of their hand, which is to say they aren't ride or die for Russia. Xi is much more calculating than that. He knows that even with all their human capital, tech and soft power, China doesn't want open warfare either...that's been proven.

At every turn Putin's overplayed his hand and there's no reason to return any semblance of financial security to his regime. Win, lose or draw. Its about to be BAD for the Russian people. And they'll have no one to blame but Putin.,

This is why I say Putin just put the nail in his coffin, it will be a coup in Russia within the next couple of years, the younger generation is the ones who will suffer under these sanctions

Unhinged rant from Putin in this thread, blaming the west, and really shytting on the Oligarchs. "Anger" is the second stage of grief; hopefully this is merely a short burst before the "bargaining" phase.

Can you imagine, though? He attained power after watching the West (and the US in particular) dismember the USSR without firing a shot itself. Now thirty years later, Russia is being owned again and watching its economy, prestige, power circle the drain--without the US having to fire a shot itself. That's why his speech sounds like this:

He is losing it and know it is over. He thought that he really was a superpower, but Russia like Obama said years previous is nothing on a global scale, they make nothing and is easily replaceable. He destroyed the country and possibly the end of Communism in Russia as we know it. Total failure that will be in the history books.

I also believe China is a bubble waiting to pop, just because alot of forces are at play; the more specific ones would be China mass rush into a Superpower, there is always a crash after a mass expansion; the ruling party's implementation of the 1 child for family rule, that is now 2 children for family, actually causing a huge disparity between young and old as there seems to be more retirees than people to backfill; and China as well going from self-sustanable to now being reliant on energy.

China is one economy crash away from 2nd to 3rd world tier. Half the country is in poverty, they are a strong dictator country and they rent their people out to corporations whose home they are trying to top as the top dog (America). They need the western world more than the western world needs them. You can't develop and become a world power when you don't create anything innovative industrial, technology, military on a global scale like America done. They steal everything that they have and again we will never see a communist global power. If they pull that move on Tawain it will be a rap for the country.

The only issue with China is that they follow the old pattern of their first leader Qin Shi Huang. The goal is expansion by any means which is why they want the seas and everything around it. China thinks land grabs equal power for some reason.

Look at the Evergrande shyt with China... they aren't bulletproof from crashing their economy... they still haven't cleared up all that shyt yet
