What don't y'all get about this?? Putin has invaded an independent country that borders about four NATO countries. In different times, in a non nuclear world, that would be considered an official act of World War.

But in current times, world leaders have conceded parts of Ukraine to Putin, but they have real intel this is about much more than the the Eastern bloc of that country. So they must act with decisiveness and conviction bc this dude Putin is officially off the rails.

Putin has been sabre rattling and provocating for over 20 years now. Invading Ukraine provided as good a pretext as any to finally have it out and settle accounts--economically, intel-wise, cyber, etc.. So much the better that it was a non-NATO, non-aligned country he attacked. NATO takes none of the losses while recouping all of the military benefits.

This also explains why we've been expelling diplomats (spies) en masse. It's also why RT America went off the air.

If anything, we haven't been ruthless enough in dealing with American-born clients of the Russian state and other assorted useful idiots. As you said, this is a war in all but name, and at any other time in America's history we wouldn't let foreign operators run around with impunity during a war.
