Thats not really true. Action on the ground has slowed down because of the cease fires to allow evacuees to flee certain areas, regrouping of resources, the mud season, and counter measures taken by the Ukranians (blowing up bridges, flooding valleys, etc.). This is what war looks like, constant reassessment and readjustment to the battlefield, planes aren't flying nonstop sorties (fuel & pilot considerations) and there aren't fire fights and constant shelling without purpose (munitions & personnel considerations).

Your war porn, twitter analysis and updates will be back in full swing on the next major offensive against strategic targets.

Punish a dictator at the expense of your own citizens? American citizens have suffered enough. 2 years of covid, inflation, trash housing market, etc.

You really think average voters gonna say "Yeah I'm going to have to pay more but Putin must be stopped". Only those really invested in global politics might care enough. Most people don't give a damn about global politics. They care more about their self-interest.

Its easy for a US Senator to say something that dumb because he's rich. Average Americans are trying to make the most of a bad situation already.
