TL:DR Many of the airplanes that are flown by Russian airlines are owned by foreign leasing companies, and it looks Russia is making moves to take possession of the ones still in Russia.
the US and Canada feeding them fuel by sea is the only solution i see and i don't know if it's even a solution.
that may just cushion them but not supply for all their needs.
what if there was a TransAtlantic pipeline?
