Nah we gotta be careful of the opposite, fact us Ukraine is an infantry army with almost no air. Their only hope is to hole up in the cities and turn this into a grind. You cannot win in modern war without air power and with no long range artillery capability :francis:
Ukraine can't win because Russia is the superior army so a "draw" is their best bet and the best way to do it is guerilla warfare to force Russia to withdraw. We already know that Ukraine will suffer more losses unfortunately because as you said Ukraine doesnt have much air warfare capabilities and as we saw between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the army that rules the air, wins.

Russia has closed off its airspace until early March so we can believe that they are expecting at least a couple of weeks of operations. Ukraine needs to make it a meat grinder for them.

The Russian population is not THAT much behind Putin, the economic conditions for the average are bad, the Ruble is crumbling and the world will isolate Russia economically (except for its gas smh) so the morale of its people will play a bigger and bigger part as long as this keeps on.

The longer it takes, the worst it becomes for Putin and most importantly for the Russian people that will suffer the economic consequences the most.

Brehs hop on combat footage on Reddit, they posting telegram vids that soldiers are taking @Liu Kang @Scottie Drippin
Yeah I posted about this subreddit earlier.
But the first strike was always expected to be effective. We can't conclude anything yet, you need to give it a few days before drawing any conclusions.

The best thing Ukraine can do and is doing is dragging this on. The Russia stock market crashed by 40 percent, the Ruble is now at the lowest and the Russian national bank had to stop short selling.

The Ukrainians have to stall while the European Union, U.S & Japan break Russia financially

Some what off topic but brehs…

when lockdowns originally happened I finally decided to read this book that been on my list for a while “The fourth Turning”

Long story short it’s a history and analysis of cacs, particularly in America. Where the author breaks into 4 different generations usually spanning 20 years in time. The final generation of the of each cycle is known as the “chaos” generation where pretty much a decade of violence and civil purest happens (usually war too)

Cac wrote the book in the 90’s and called for the the next chaos generation to happen in the 2020’s :dead:

It’s off topic but I seen so many people call the 2020’s a dub and can’t help but to think how right this man was

A grim theory predicted the protests and pandemic crises of 2020

There is no doubt Putin has weighed this and decided he can survive any economic hit. He will be shielded personally as will his inner circle. They’ll still get revenue from energy exports to Europe and rest of the world, and they’ll maintain trade links with China, Iran, Central Asia etc. This isn’t a recipe for prosperity but still high chance of survival.

We have plenty of examples to show severe financial sanctions often end up reinforcing hardliners (North Korea, Iran) This won’t end through economic penalties I don’t think, it’ll end when Russia feels they’ve achieved their political goals. Real question is what are their goals ?
