N.Korea says it has never supplied weapons or ammunition to Russia - KCNA

SEOUL (Reuters) -North Korea on Thursday said it has never supplied weapons or ammunition to Russia and has no plans to do so, while warning the United States to "keep its mouth shut" and stop circulating rumours aimed at "tarnishing" the country's image.
If true, it’s likely those Soviet era munitions were supplied or brokered from China. They just didn’t want their stamp on it and used N. Korea as a proxy.

Unfortunately we’re in an escalating Cold War, so large scale proxy battles are on the table again.

So at what point does Putin realize this isn't winnable and cut his losses :skip: at this point it seems like the war is running on Putin's ego and not much else

Is dude just going to keep sending soldiers to Ukraine until he literally runs out of men?

Also from April.
Damn...
how long left then?

1 month? 3 months? 6 months? > 1 year?

6 months imo.
even if you take ammo out of the equation, all of those mobile artillery units need regular maintenance and they aint getting it.
soon they will also be running out of things to shoot with as well... :deadmanny:
meanwhile the West is pumping everything they can into Ukraine.

yeah, 6 months sounds like about how long it will take for Russia to openly :why: :francis: :hubie:

this ain't 1942, Russia does not have the ability to manufacture it's way out of this.
the only reason the other two ships of the same class ain't sunk is because they can't get to the Black Sea.
just wait till that next round of equipment and training hit the scene.
i predict Ukraine going on a major offensive in the South and retaking Crimea by October of this year.

The gloves are coming off. Russia is done playing games it’s about to be a massacre and this all due the west fault for enabling this

Russia has announced the mobilisation of 300,000 reserves. Russia has 25 million reserves (people that have essentially gone through some military training in their lives). This will be in addition to the 100-150,000 soldiers that are currently active in Ukraine.

This should take a couple of months and in that time we should see an escalation. We'll likely see wide scales attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure (power stations, bridges, rail etc.).

There are rumours that Ukraine is going to launch a final push. This would be interesting to see.

Those 300,000 soldiers ain’t making it to the front. If they do it will be a disaster. They can’t escalate anymore with involving nukes. The Russians let the USA put them in a trick bag. It’s over.

There might be a carrier group in the Black Sea this time next year. If Brandon can offer a big enough carrot to Erdoğan maybe he would reconsider letting big boy boats in.

This article is from 1986 but very much echoes today. It's also informative of the history of the waterways in the area.
