Russia's front line collapses and Ukraine nears a stunning victory
Most likely the last 72 hours of warfare in Ukraine are going to be studied by generations of future military officers and historians. In summary, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have retaken over 2,500 sq km of Russian-occupied Ukraine.

And they have done this by punching a hole through thinly-guarded Russian front lines east of Kharkiv, and severing the Russian lines of logistics, forcing the withdrawal of large contingents of Russian soldiers from multiple locations, but most importantly Izyum and Kupyansk.

What happens if Russia collapses?
Depends on who takes over. Assuming Putin is removed it’ll likely be a hardliner who blames him for everything and proposes mobilization. Which just means they’ll draft a bunch of Russians and flood them into Ukraine where they’ll be blown to bits (but still likely do some damage beforehand). Assuming that fails what’s next? I don’t know.

Whatever Russian government arises from the ashes will have to deal with rebuilding the military and negotiating on sanctions. All while likely having many disgruntled Russians in who are humiliated by Russia being on its knees. The same anger and resentment that spawned Putin in the first place.
