if america actually breaks down into organized and sustained conflict, we wont have to worry about a foreign trained army; it will be locals killing over CRT and trans restroom rights. the stuff we saw in MN, WA, and OR are probably close to how it will look, and we all know what side law enforcement will choose :mjpls:

I've been thinking this and I think it might become reality. The guard is changing economicly. These sanctions didn't work, the world is ignoring American sanctions and working with russia. Europe even. Russia will learn from mistakes and hit Finland and Sweden smarter and more efficient. Lowkey, they're still a formidable foe. Include China. economically, we're witnessing a balance of power shift.

Russia has shown it has considerable, if not vital and irreplaceable, pull within europe. I've seen reports that have shown Europe needs Russian oil. China is disregarding the sanctions, Russia is working on a pipeline with them so they'll get richer from euro and china. These African, eurasian, middle east, countries are feeling the crunch due to food shortages, who do you think will pick up the slack. China. All these countries will support eqchother. what western influence? From britian, france? No..they'll be the first to look to russia and china. Germany is the biggest economy in Europe and th said they need Russia petro. Venezuela, say no more.

If you deny that the sanctions didn't work (Russia has seen a trade surplus) and Europe has disregarded, I'd like to hear your argument for that. Its not the end of america, but its definitely a balance of power shift.

Ww2, Russia saw enormous losses to the Nazis and their main battle tank wasn't even in service yet, but they got stronger. Russia has already started getting their game plan on point. You can't argue that russia isnt the second greatest military power and has the resources to waste Ukraine and anyone outside of nato. They'll only gain experience from these setbacks. Get ready for their 2nd, more precise attack on kyiv.

If I was ukraine, that's what I'd be preparing for. They can only hold off for so long.

I bet I'm right. This was a serendipitous spark. Its no secret globalization has caused economic growth throughout the world, particularly amongst countries with a potentially higher economic ceiling than the us. China has surpassed us by GDP if I'm not miataken. EU was richer and India has potential. Just like ww1 and 2 did unexpected things for the US ecocomy, the world and other economic powers will realize their latitude in due time. China is sitting back and watching. If I were the US govt, I'd be strengthening economic ties in the ME, Europe, Africa and military and good relations with Europe, SA, and Asia.

The Soviet Union (Not Russia) was able to absorb enormous losses because 1. The majority of its losses were in the near East (Ukraine/Belarus) but also because it was a newly industrialized country with massive resource advantage a long with the material support of the #1 USA and #2 Britain economies on planet. The Soviets were even supplying Nazi Germany with material support prior to the invasion. Even so modern scholarship has shown that the Soviets were on the brink of defeat many times and at the end of the war were spent as a military force and the Soviet Union never fully recovered from WW2.

Comparatively Russia today produces nothing of value and is merely a pipeline for oil that the west is gradually moving away from. The most obvious display of Russia lack of soft and hard power is Chinas reaction to the Ukrainian debacle which is to move away from material and political support for the Russian invasion.

Russia today has the GDP of Florida and a demographic catastrophe with a declining population where your average male only lives to 68 years old and 5 million of its best and brightest have already left the country. There is no strategic reserve nor is there any wonder weapon that’s going to change the tide of the war. Russia can’t even engage in large scale encirclements in the east where it’s strongest never mind making another advance on Kyiv.

Frankly you’re delusional and there absolutely no indication that there is going to be a balance of power shift in the word any time soon. The US continuously antagonizing China over Taiwan proves that Eastern Europe remains a side show and China is who the real opp is.

Also you seem to be under the assumption that war victory creates economies. The US was known throughout Europe as a future world power with an near inexhaustible manufacturing and population base. The Japanese knew this but like the Russians with Ukraine went to war ignoring material realities and instead assumed Ukraine would role over and accept their rule. They also bought into Russians being “tougher” than others meanwhile a 26 year old MIT student with an engineering degree in drone warfare is far more dangerous than a Spetnaz who can do a bunch of sit-ups.
