There really is no grand change with Trump. He's continuing most Obama foreign policy measures.

The domestic policy stuff may have been in discourse but really limited as the Tea Party isn't even 8 years old and the GOP had unified government just 11 years ago. They spent money like hell and got us in 2 wars and tax cuts they didn't care to pay for.

Antagonizing and outright disrespecting your strongest and closest allies is a huge shift in the US foreign policy posture.
