Newly-elected House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Trey Gowdy does not plan to investigate Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election or questions of whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice.

The South Carolina Republican told a gathering of reporters Friday that he instead wants to return the Oversight panel to its original “compulsory” jurisdiction, including overseeing more mundane issues like government procurement and the Census.

That alone should've had the black SUV's on his lawn and a swat team with a battering ram at his door. He explicitly threatened the very foundation of a democracy during the third debate after threatening to imprison his opponent the previous one. Any other nation at any other time and he's in serious danger from the public. The fact that the right didn't instantly take that as a direct attack on democracy and everyone's freedoms shows just how far brainwashed this nation is. Mueller needs to hurry up already. If you think about why he wouldn't be willing to accept the election results if he lost then that would explain his knowledge of what was happening beforehand. He assumed that if he lost the election then that would mean Hillary had been cheating, because he knew that he was cheating. So the only way that he figured that he would lose is if Hillary was cheating too.

Trump is a terrible crook and his guilty mind blames everybody for everything, but he is really telling on himself.
