Is Rusev a great in-ring talent? Not particular, but he's good enough. He won't quickly take a match to the next level but he will certainly never bring it down either. He is however a very charismatic personality and a natural entertainer. What he lacks in ring work he makes up with character work and despite the super outdated gimmick he has made that gimmick work.

His character work will make him a great addition to any roster, and his ring work won't hold him back (except maybe if he were to go to New Japan). He deserves a main event push wherever he goes and it will be then that he has to prove himself worthy of it.
