That Nerd Clark/regular Clark has never been explored as a character. The idea of him overplaying a nerd vs farm boy Clark. Nerds aren’t seen the same as they were in the 70s.

If it were me I would make a standalone universe with each character and cross them over when appropriate. I believe the first time the JL ever came together in the comics they never interacted before. The writers just decided to cross them over.

DC has Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. These are icons. Honestly, they didn't even have show backstories, and especially not right away. They could've did the Trinity movie from the gate. But the script itself was a mess. Why would Batman fight to kill Superman, AFTER he already saw Supes protecting vs Zod? So no other Superpowered people will exist,and you can stop them all? And on top of that, he already had the info of others before the fight so....The script itself didn't make sense. Then for it to be a team-up 5 secs later...

it's not 1957 anymore.. these young kids don't give a fukk about batman and superman original OG stories... comics don't sell like they used to.. kids ain't reading like they used to... the last time these two had an origin story, most the kids in the theater, wouldn't even remember MOS or BB..

y'all want them to make movies for comic fans... they want to make money like all the fans love them... and that's not gonna happen, starting batman off at 40 and retired... best DC movie?? wonder woman... why? cause you grew with her from birth and got invested.. so she ends up being the only one you even care about during JL... and then only movie they ain't thinking about completely scrapping

You can still take those liberties with the Trinity though. Even Batman '89 didn't ave his origin. Repeat viewings isn't coming from children. And Begins was less than 10 years before Justice League. Dark Knight Rises was 2012, JL as '17. You mean to tell me that n 5 short years, no one can remember anything? Whether or not kids care about these characters is irrelevant, their recognition is enough to garner interest. And in this hive mind era, that's all you need.

They gave you a Superman origin, and that still couldn't get him a sequel, so your point is null and void. Wonder Woman was so successful because it was 70 years in the making. There were 3-4 generations of women waiting for the movie. The movie was trash because it felt like a hack job, with no direction of the plot. Every movie doesn't need to have a "this is how..." A good movie can drop you right into it, and go from there, especially with 80 year old characters whose origins can be told with exposition.
