First of all, there are a lot of old cacs on here..second, I don't care how bad Man of Steel was (it was good, not great), it was NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AND BORING as Superman Returns...no way the scores should be that way
You know the score on there is that way because of the "destruction" and because superman wasn't the superman everyone loves because God forbid they show some character development and make him less than perfect
I know that's what I just said...the old farts want their old good 'ol' boy Superman back

and it was really hard to get over those feelings of deflated hope. Mind you it had been a few years since I'd seen Superman Returns so the of that movie wasn't as fresh in my mind.Then I saw Superman Returns again....

but there's no way I would ever choose to watch Superman Returns again over MOS. There's just literally nothing going for it.And even on a superficial level they just got the whole look wrong. Blame it on whoever you gotta blame it on but Brandon Routh never came off like Superman to me. He came off as a guy in a Superman costume. The day that first photo revealed of him in the suit was revealed you knew something was wrong.
