The int was awful. So was the fumble but if you watched that game and you blame this on fields, you just hate this nikka :pachaha:. Plain and simple. The play calling and o-line play was beyond embarrassing. They’ll always blame the QB tho:francis:. It’s a wrap for my dog. If this is an indication of how the years gonna go they’re probably gonna clean house at the end of the season. Gm to coach to QB. What a train wreck

He looked bad, no way around it. Couple nice throws but it's clear they don't trust him to throw much, and he isn't seeing the field well. Just like in the preseason most of his best throws were short ones that went for big YAC. We'll see what happens. You don't need the #1 pick to get a really good QB in this upcoming draft. But man they looked bad on both sides and could be worse than Arizona.

Do they not trust him to throw or do they not trust the o line? The o-line was falling apart for most of the game. Granted he threw that terrible pick on the best protection he had in the game but by that point they were already getting blown out. They threw like 9 screens. They ran 1 designed run after they were down 17 and it was executed like a peewee league. No excuse for the turnovers tho. That pick was embarrassing. But the game was already out of hand by then. Even his TD was an audible at the LOS by him

I am so tired of this narrative with Fields - and for the record, we are ALL aware there are issues around Fields with protection and talent at skill positons (last season anyways) - but he is in his 3rd year, he needs to take accountability too

who is solely putting this on Fields anyways? are we saying the lack of talent around him wasnt discussed last season? have people said he has a great oline?

even when he has a pocket, he is not comfortable throwing to receivers. He doesnt see the open windows. These things are the reasons we call shytty screens all day btw, he is hindering the playcalling STILL in his 3rd year

he needs to get better

Uhh I mean you see what thread this is right? You see the comments above mine? He needs to get better. Point blank period. It’s just not all on him like most of the people in the upped “Justin Fields can’t go through his progressions official thread” are saying .

How many times did he have a pocket today? How many opportunities were given to him to genuinely throw the ball down field? How many called screen throws were dialed up?? If they don’t believe in him and that’s why they are calling screen after screen, they might as well give it up and trade him while he still has some value.

he looked like dog shyt last year too. This isnt a one game hot take. nikka is Jay cutler 2.0....Just throws INTs to Packers every game and lose. nikkas hasnt made one throw that should give hope unless the WR is wide open.

he hasnt done anything to disprove this thread - so what are we saying here? when he does get protection, he just holds the ball and either 1) throws a dump off, 2) takes off running

its bad. he needs to hold himself accountable if he wants to imrpove. babying him wont help him. he needs to improve

DJ Moore & Chase Claypool had 3 combined targets, one being a screen - ridiculous

Apart from the bad int, (which I’ll admit was terrible) What did he do today to prove this thread? The downfield Td he threw was on audible that he made at the line.

How many throws today do you estimate he had protection that wasn’t a called screen? Im bet it’s not more than 5. Last year the hit on fields was he never takes the dump off, now it’s shytting on him for taking the check down. I agree. Babying him won’t help him. Let him actually throw the football and dont call 100 screens. If he drowns he drowns.
